Do you accept commissions?
Yes. We work with a number of businesses, production companies, publications and tourism boards. We are always excited to hear about the next great assignment. Please send all enquiries to hello@placesweswim.com.
Where is your book stocked?
We have a list of current book stockists on our website here. But we always recommend to call the bookstore in your neighbourhood and ask for it. Support your local book store!
Do you ship internationally?
We do, but it’s expensive to send books from Australia. We do offer shipping globally through our website. For prints, it’s a little less complicated (they are lighter). Please email us with any direct enquiries.
How do I take care of my print?
It's best not to hang your print in direct sunlight, as it will cause the print to fade over time. Be sure to use acid-free tape if you are framing the print yourself to avoid yellowing.
Is there a story behind every photo?
Yes. We've traveled all around Australia in search of the most beautiful places and each image is full of memories. We're happy to share if you are curious.
Are the prints framed?
We sell prints both unframed or framed, you choose. Our framing service also delivery, so it’s a one stop shop. Take a look at our prints here.
Can you print images other than those available on the website?
Unfortunately not. We have curated this selection of images because we think they’re our best. We hope you find something you love. If you want to find out more about printing and framing, look here.
Can you print sizes other than those specified on the website?
Yes, depending on the photo. If you are interested in a size that is not available on the website, please send us a request to hello@placesweswim.com for a custom quote. To preserve the integrity of the photographs, we do not print larger than 120cm x 80cm.
Will the print be editioned and signed?
Only our largest prints (120m x 80cm) are editioned (20). All prints come with a certificate of authenticity which has the artists’ signature, date, and edition number (when applicable).
When will my order arrive?
Book orders typically take 3-5 business days via regular post. Unless you need it Express, which will take 1-2 days.
For unframed prints, 5-10 working days depending on printing, shipping, and public holidays. If requested, we can arrange express post at an additional cost.
Framed prints take up to two weeks. Because everything is custom made, it is not possible to expedite a framed print order.
What is next for Places We Swim
Our third book Places We Swim California will be released in April 2024. It’s a guide to the Golden State for locals and visitors and ultimately, people who like exploring the wilderness.
